It's the only that I know of which really fights for the rights of bloggers, programmers, internet users, etc. in the USA. I hope we'll have the same group here in the Philippines. Kc parang napansin ko na basta na lng ng-p-pasa ng batas ang congress and senate pag-tungkol na sa digital rights, either kc di nila maintindihan ang implications nito sa future or dahil wala lng clang pakialam. I don't agree with the treaty the our country went to with the other countries abt the copyright law (im gonna talk about that more in another blogpost). It seems like it's the same as the ACTA that the US have.

Imagine isang treaty na sinalihan ng government nyo na hindi pinakita ang buong laman ng treaty kundi summary lang. ang galing di ba. government na nagtatago ng sikreto sa mga tao. nakita ko kc ang news na ito : Government Still Blocking Information on Secret IP Enforcement Treaty => from the website of www.eff.org

ewan ko lng kung anong mangyayari kapag yung mga taong gumagawa ng batas eh masyadong late sa pag-acknowledge ng progress. pinipigilan nila ang progress sa internet

Pinky and the Brain

I love this cartoons.
It's no longer aired in our local tv channel 9.
Good thing there's youtube.

bagong ka-a-adikan :)

Hehehehe I found a website, much like the other online games, pero I like this because they offered a version in tagalog. Yesterday, Noemi sealed the contract with One Esplanade finalizing our beautiful venue this coming September. With a little cash - and a lot of help from the SM group we were able to secure the Coral B room of One Esplanade for the better part of the 21st.

Philippine Blog Awards
When: September 21 2008
Where: 1 Esplanade (website and directions)

Registration starts 5:00 PM with the awards to commence at sunset.

The Philippine Blog Awards runs entirely on sponsorships and volunteer work. We will be calling our first volunteers meeting very soon to do a second ocular and delegate tasks. If you wish to be included in the volunteer group email, please send a message to Gail Villanueva at kutitots at gmail dot com and she will get back to you. It would be great if you can also list some of the “talents” which you can contribute to make the event really kick ass!

Expect an email from Gail announcing the first volunteers meet up in the next few days. :)

What if you can’t volunteer but want to help out in some way? Well, the biggest help we need right now is spreading the word about the awards through word of mouth, your blogs, Plurk, Twitter, and your other effective social tools.

If you are a corporation that wants to sponsor this event, you can do so by filling up this form and we will get back to you immediately.

Oh and lastly, we are sifting through a pile of nominations — we are officially closing nominations on August 10 2008 so if you have a blog or blog entry which you think is worthy of being notable in the blogosphere, you can nominate a blog(s) through this form.
Posted by Jayvee under News

vital c introduction

FVR

The only family I know that truly love this country is the Ramos family. I mean they are cousins of the marcoses pero ibang-iba ung ugali.

so neways, im just here to present my opinion on people who i think are doing the right thing for the country, pero dahil hindi cla opposition so hindi sila ina-advertise as good persons by the newspeople ng abscbn. i just want to try and put some sense to those people na hindi rin nag-r-research and nag-iisip minsan.
ung mga may integrity na taong alam ko sa pulitika and those that are really patriotic, sa ngayn ang nakikita ko pa lng are FVR, Razon, and Atienza. keywords: integrity and patriotic.

cla pa lng ung may integrity na nakikita ko sa pulitika, ung batikan na at marami ng nagawa. wlanghiya, eh ung mga opposition, kung meron din silang nagawang mabuti for the long term benefits ng filipinos and hindi ung pasikat lang, eh isusulat ko rin dito, pero wala eh, pero i'll still try to really really really research those opposition and administration people and compare the results they have made for the past years. sa ngyn, imho, wlang kwenta ang pagpapasikat nila. hindi tanga ang mga pilipino, although some tend to have the same opinion as what they see on tv or read on the newspapers. i , for one, dont formulate my own conclusion before i see both sides. so kung tv lng ung resource ko, manonood ako ng channel 2, 7, 9 and 13. kung newspapers, babasahin ko ung inquirer and manila bulletin, coz we all know who owns those papers d b lolz, nakakatawa nga na ung inquirer na one of the ways na tumulong sa pagpapatagumpay ng People Power 1 eh , ngyn pag-a-ari pa ata ng kamag-anak or something ng mga marcoses, how ironic d b lolz. only in the philippines.

<img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/18363115-454173141173824970?l=cynterests.blogspot.com' alt='' The 27-year-old Scottish actor James McAvoy decided to hedge his bets. Over the next year, he will be seen in roles ranging from the man who inspired Jane Austen’s canon to a guy who falls in love with a pig-woman to representing the entire nation of England.

A former baker who was raised by his single mother in a Glasgow housing project and chose drama school over enlistment in the British navy, McAvoy is no pantywaist when it comes to dramatic range. He first made an impression on American audiences as Mr. Tumnus, the Faun in last winter’s Chronicles of Narnia. The role required him to prance around shirtless with hair glued to his nether regions and to come across as both pedophilic and sympathetic. “It was my favorite book when I was a kid,” says McAvoy, as enthusiastic as if he got the role yesterday. “I got a call from my agent asking, ‘Would you like to audition for Tumnus? Naw, you wouldn’t want to—it’s a bit silly, isn’t it,’ and I said, ‘What, are you kidding me?’ I went in and talked to them for three hours and figured they would give it to someone more well-known.”

As it turned out, the role made his name. But first there were some issues with the costume. “Or lack of costume,” laughs McAvoy. “It was quite uncomfortable. Makeup was three and a half hours every day. I was covered in glue, covered in hair, and had prosthetics and things covering my nose. Hair kept falling off, so every two minutes people had to come up and glue it back on with hot tongs. But every actor has a self-harming side that loves that shit—when you’ve been shooting for fourteen hours, and everyone’s tired, and it’s freezing, and they say, ‘Can you take your top off and run through the snow even though your nipples are about to turn black and fall off?’. Even if it’s a mundane thing like making sure all the bits are sticking to your body, it gives you purpose, makes you feel more noble, you know?”

McAvoy’s next film is The Last King of Scotland, a biopic of the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin, who rose to power after the U.K. ceded control of its former protectorate, and then murdered thousands of his countrymen while British tabloids looked on in amusement. McAvoy plays a Scottish doctor who is working in a Ugandan field hospital when he’s chosen by Amin (Forest Whitaker) to be his personal physician. They become close confidantes; eventually McAvoy’s character discovers the extent of Amin’s brutality and realizes that he’s enabled it. “My character is a microcosm of the British presence in Uganda,” says McAvoy. “A complete fucking waste of time. We should never have been there.”

What was acting with Forest Whitaker like? “Scary. I haven’t told him that,” he says. “He was so much in character when we started filming. He was as large as Idi every day, in every way, which is something I think people will be surprised to see. Forest Whitaker seems to be a quiet man, reserved, thoughtful, while Idi is anything but. He’s huge. He’s bawdy. He’s gauche. He’s confrontational. So Forest became that, and that had so much effect on everyone. When he would come on set, the crew would just be shitting themselves. I could gauge the difference,” he laughs. “People worked much harder when Forest was on set.”

Other challenges included building up a chaste romantic tension with Gillian Anderson, who plays a co-worker, and undertaking several explicit sex scenes. “My character ends up having sex with a number of Ugandan girls. Shooting that was a complete nightmare. Uganda’s really religious—almost everyone’s Catholic, and there weren’t many performers who were willing to simulate sex. Getting them to take some clothes off was really difficult. In the situation, I felt mortified. Because, you know, I don’t love sex scenes, but I’ve been doing them for seven years, and here’s this girl in a roomful of men who all speak a different language, they’re all white, and they’re all fucking focused entirely on her, and she’s never been on a set before! But the scenes turned out really well—there’s a lot of story told through the sex.”

Familiar to British television audiences thanks to the mini-series Children of Dune, a BBC adaptation of White Teeth, and a butt-baring stint on the popular sitcom Shameless, McAvoy next stars in the U.K. college drama Starter for Ten. Later this year he’ll be internationally conspicuous in Penelope, as a compulsive gambler and social misfit who falls in love with a pig-snouted woman (Christina Ricci). The romantic lead in Becoming Jane, a Jane Austen biopic starring Anne Hathaway, follows. “Yep, I’m the dude she falls in love with,” he says. “It’s strange to be in two films back-to-back playing the love interest, because I look at myself and say, ‘You’re really not that attractive.’”

Somewhere, a coven of Narnia fans are howling in agony. “I’m very fortunate,” says McAvoy. “It’s not like I had huge amounts of choice of roles—luckily all of the work has been good. You look at superstars who did shit films and you think, How did that happen? You could have done anything you wanted!”

Still, he’s circumspect about his meteoric rise over the last year: “You can’t really strategize your career. If you could, everyone would be successful, and everyone’s obviously not. You just have to do what’s good, what stretches you.” Even if it involves pig snouts and cloven hooves. It is a non-fiction, motivational book that talks about principles and mindset of successful people. From the title, most people would think it is only about money, but it is not. Richness is not only defined by money, it can be any blessing you have in your life, such as richness in friends, love, or attention. In my opinion, the word “rich” there depends on what you want to have in your life. The book helps you to achieve that kind of prosperity.

Think and Grow Rich literally changed the way I think. As the book says, it all starts with your thoughts. It actually only implies the primary principle it wants to convey, you have to think for yourself what the author is actually saying as the secret for success. The author studied and researched successful people for almost 20 years. That is the reason he was able to give stories of various big companies that started only from humble beginning. There is one part where it states how the most famous softdrink started. Another one is an anecdote about Mr. Ford.

This is one story that stuck in my mind. He, with his company, revolutionized the way cars are assembled and made it available for the masses. The story that the book relates to is when he asked his engineers to make a V8 motor where all 8 engines are available in one. The engineers told him it is impossible to create that kind of engine, but he just said, try to make it anyway.

So, the engineers did try. They failed the first time. They tried again and presented to him a model, but it is still not working. Every time they failed, Ford persisted and told them to try again. Ford never gave up and never stopped believing that it can be done. Then one day, the engineers got it working. They created the V8 engine, which in the time of its conception they thought impossible to create. This story proved the cliché…nothing is impossible.

I want to read this especially at times I feel so overwhelmed with circumstances not going my way. It inspired me that I can do anything too. This is one of the lessons conveyed in the book.

There are a lot more lessons to be learned and suggestions to adhere that can be found in the book. One of them is providing six steps in achieving your goal. I will state here one of the steps. It is being specific on what you want to achieve and then write it down.

This has been practiced by various nationalities, but I do not find it commonly practiced here in the Philippines. At work, we have written our goals down, but outside work, most people I meet just have dreams. It's like they want this ‘something’ and dream about it, not really thinking that they can achieve it. They do not write down specific steps to achieve that dream, they do not have goals.

I can relate to them because once in my life, I was like them. I just try to dream of something and felt like it is always out of my reach, that I cannot get it. I have low self-esteem and not having anything to back myself up with previous achievements, I felt depressed and hopeless. I know maybe some of the people around me did not notice that I am feeling that way inside, I was so quiet and reserved back then.

It helps me a lot now to be more focused on what I want to achieve in life. I do not want to live in the dream-world, I want to see my goals be made real. Right now, I am not yet in a stage of my life where I can do what I love, but I’m taking it one step at a time.

I like meeting people who are also on this journey so we can help each other out. One thing that we should have in common is the can-do attitude and the persistence to make it happen. I really do not like meeting negative people or people who think that something is not attainable. Because this simply means they lack belief in themselves, and those people's attitude tend to rub on other people. I try to avoid pessimists because when I really want something, I will do everything to get it. Of course, there will be obstacles in the way, but it does not mean that it’s an excuse to stop.

Finding people who have the same belief as yours is one of the suggestions also indicated in this book. It is what Mr. Hill stated as having a “Mastermind group”. The group that consists of people you trust and who have the same attitude and belief as yours. You might not have the same opinions, but you have the same attitude of believing that you can do whatever you want to do.

I am now in the process of finding these people and I hope that someday we can achieve all our goals together. I also hope more people would read this book and be inspired.

million dollar home page

I have just read a very inspiring blog, the one from alex tew, who created this very unique and awesome idea, milliondollarhomepage.com here's the banner:

he also has a blog there which is really cooolllll :D i was inspired by his creativeness

my cousin told me about this just yesterday, she was told by my other cousin who's an owner of an internet cafe, neways, im glad she told me about this. My mom and I decided to watch it after I got my renewal for driver's license. Good thing there is a branch of LTO in the SM Mall. After that, I was really excited to go to the cinema. We didnt went in until the time that the new show will start. As usual it didnt immediately start on the stated time. There were a couple in front of where we're sitting so when the movie started with it's opening screen, I moved to the second row in front. It was great, I love every scenes with special effects. I like seeing the faces of Daniel Radcliffe and the new one Cedric ( I dont know his real name), he's cuter than Harry but, of course I knew he would die in the movie, they can't keep two very cute guys right lolz. Anyway, one thing I find a little uuummmmm how should I say it, a little disappointing in terms of special effects or venue, is when voldermort finally met with harry, the place looks like a grave but u can sense that it was made in a studio, the scene looks a little compact, I mean I would have expected larger venue where the characters are really moving around potter, but the acting especially of ralph fiennes is okay, I like him very much, he's a versatile actor. I just hope that they use the latest technology and all the great and most sophisticated tools for special effects, especially when voldermort and harry fight again, I dont know I just have a thing with secluded places, I mean the scenes should be a little spacey when they're in open space right. But apart from that, I love everything about it, I hope he and his crush have more screen times next movie. I havent read the books yet.
FORT MINOR

i just wanna say this sh*t: everything is revolutionizing, one of them is now the music industry, gone are the days that other countries have to wait for months or even years before they can hear a song from an album of an artist, thanks to the internet, we can listen to it real time, the same time that the artist post or features it or made it available online. mannnnn, im sure glad mike is fond of computers or internet and knows how it all works....... every artist should do the same, well anyway, that's just my ho

here are some of the lyrics, i'll put the link of the one who compiled this in the forum

Get Me Gone

The dude, he said that, like, when we were making the first Linkin Park record
He was like,
"Yeah you know, I don't know about the rapping like, I don't know... maybe you should just be a rock band."
You know what I mean, like, trying to change us
like they signed us as an act like what we sound like and then he's like
"Oh I don't know maybe you should just play keyboard"

Before the first song that you heard me on
There were people already tryin' to get me gone
Tellin’ me to quit rapping
"Just play the keys"
That my band had a singer
They didn't need me
But my band had my back
So we did the tracks
Put out the album and the talk went flat
It was funny at first but then the humour faded
When some magazines printed that our label made us
We were to be good to be true
Some were saying ghost writers were writin' all that we do
So we had to disprove it
We spelled it out to the detail how we do it when we're making this music
After that I made it a rule
I only do e-mail responses to print interviews
Because these people love to put a twist to your words
To infer that you said something fucking absurd

Oh, did I lose you at infer?
Not used to hearing a verse that uses over first grade vocabulary words?
People used to infer that we were manufactured
Now I’ve got the interviews on file
Which people said what
Which number to dial
So now every enemy screaming insanity
All they're ever gonna be's another big fan of me
Bitch

======

Believe Me

I guess
That this is where we've come to
If you don't want to
Then you don't have to believe me
But I won't be there when you go down
Just so you know now
You're on your own now believe me

I don't want to be the one to blame
You like fun and games
Keep playing em
I'm just sayin
Think back then
We was like one and the same
On the right track
But I was on the wrong train
Just like that
Now you've got a face to pain
And the devil's got a fresh new place to play
In your brain like a maze you can never escape the rain
Every damn day is the same shade of grey

Hey
I used have a little bit of a plan
Used to
Have a concept of where I stand
But that concept slipped right out of my hands
Now I don't really even know who I am
Yo, what do I have to say
Maybe I should do what I have to do to break free
What ever happens to you, we'll see
But it's not gonna happen to me

I guess
That this is where we've come to
If you don't want to
Then you don't have to believe me
But I won't be there when you go down
Just so you know now
You're on your own now believe me

Back then, I thought you were just like me
Somebody who could see all the pain I see
But you proved to me unintentionally
That you would self-destruct eventually
Now I'm thinking like the mistake I made doesn't hurt
But it's not gonna work
Cause it's really much worse than I thought
I wished you were something that you were not
And now this guilt is really all that I got

You turned your back
And walked away in shame
All you got is a memory of pain
Nothing makes sense so you stare at the ground
I hear your voice in my head when no one's around
What do I have to say
Maybe I should do what I have to do to break free
What ever happens to you, we'll see
But it's not gonna happen to me

I guess
That this is where we've come to
If you don't want to
Then you don't have to believe me
But I won't be there when you go down
Just so you know now
You're on your own now believe me

[bridge]

I guess
That this is where we've come to
If you don't want to
Then you don't have to believe me
But I won't be there when you go down
Just so you know now
You're on your own now believe me

Do what i have to do
You're on your own now believe me

What ever happens to you
You're on your own now believe me

What do I have to say
You're on your own now believe me

It's not gonna happen to me
You're on your own now believe me

=======

Petrified

Yall are not, understand why you have to always be gone,
I get along but the trips always feel so long,
And, I find myself tryna stay by the phone,
'Cause your voice always helps me />
Red to Black

I had a friend named Victor
The two of us used to hang every single day
and it seemed like overnight that his whole life just changed
I know when his mom and dad broke up
it didnt make sense but I know that his dad was a drunk
and he gambled away the rent
pretty soon vic was seein red
pissed off but instead
he drank every night til he passed out
then he'd do it all again
the whole time he was fine on the outside to cover the pain
but on the inside all he was tryin to do was get away

Dying to get away
Let the pain of yesterday go slipping through the cracks

Funny how things change color
then fade to another shade
When you had it made it was all good
but now look just another day
it was so fresh it was so clean
now its all gone
1, 2, 3, lights out
which way to turn
cant get a grip
all alone in a beat white house
everyday gets worse and your just cursed
til your head bursts and it hurts so bad
she left like yourself should have thought of that one first
no family, no kids, can't accept what you did
now you wanna runaway but you can't cuz the past comes back again

Slippin through the cracks
Sip a little jack
(???????????????)
What about rent
Why does every cent gotta be a bet
Whens it gonna end
Oh my god, we dont got a penny left
My moms gotta find a way to get a job
Outta debt, outta dodge, outta breath, outta this big problem
My pops wanna get away from the pain
In a better place in his brain
But the medication he takes makes him wasted
So sick if hes gonna think the good lord would come take him
Im shakin him now wake up you son of a bitch

He's dying to get away
Let the pain of yesterday go slipping through the cracks
Hiding himself away watching all the memories fade
Away From red to black

He's dying to get away
Let the pain of yesterday go slipping through the cracks
Hiding himself away watching all the memories fade
Away From red to black

(Slipping through the Cracks)

================

Kenji

My father came from Japan in 1905
He was 15 when he immigrated from Japan
He, he... he worked until he was able to buy this patch
And build a store

Let me tell you the story in the form of a dream,
I don't know why I have to tell it but I know what it means,
Close your eyes, just picture the scene,
As I paint it for you, it was World War II,
When this man named Kenji woke up,
Ken was not a soldier,
He was just a man with a family who owned a store in LA,
That day, he crawled out of bed like he always did,
Bacon and eggs with wife and kids,
He lived on the second floor of a little store he ran,
He moved to LA from Japan,
They called him 'Immigrant,'
In Japanese, he'd say he was called "Isei,"
That meant 'First Generation In The United States,'
When everyone was afraid of the Germans, afraid of the Japs,
But most of all afraid of a homeland attack,
And that morning when Ken went out on the doormat,
His world went black 'cause,
Right there; front page news,
Three weeks before 1942,
"Pearl Harbour's Been Bombed And The Japs Are Comin',"
Pictures of soldiers dyin' and runnin',
Ken knew what it would lead to,
Just like he guessed, the President said,
"The evil Japanese in our home country will be locked away,"
They gave Ken, a couple of days,
To get his whole life packed in two bags,
Just two bags, couldn't even pack his clothes,
Some folks didn't even have a suitcase, to pack anything in,
So two trash bags was all they gave them,
When the kids asked mum "Where are we goin'?"
Nobody even knew what to say to them,
Ken didn't wanna lie, he said "The US is lookin' for spies,
So we have to live in a place called Mandinar,
Where a lot of Japanese people are,"
Stop it don't look at the gunmen,
You don't wanna get the soldiers wonderin',
If you gonna run or not,
'Cause if you run then you might get shot,
Other than that try not to think about it,
Try not to worry 'bout it; bein' so crowded,
Someday we'll get out, someday, someday.

As soon as war broke out
The G.I came and they just come to the house and
"You have to come"
"All the Japanese have to go"
They took Mr. Lee
People didn't understand
Why did they have to take him?
Because he's an innocent [neighbour/labourer?]

So now they're in a town with soldiers surroundin' them,
Every day, every night look down at them,
From watch towers up on the wall,
Ken couldn't really hate them at all;
They were just doin' their job and,
He wasn't gonna make any problems,
He had a little garden with vegetables and fruits that,
He gave to the troops in a basket his wife made,
But in the back of his mind, he wanted his families life saved,
Prisoners of war in their own damn country,
What for?
Time passed in the prison town,
He wanted them to live it down when they were free,
The only way out was joinin' the army,
And supposedly, some men went out for the army, signed on,
And ended up flyin' to Japan with a bomb,
That 15 kilotonne blast, put an end to the war pretty fast,
Two cities were blown to bits; the end of the war came quick,
Ken got out, big hopes of a normal life, with his kids and his wife,
But, when they got back to their home,
What they saw made them feel so alone,
These people had trashed every room,
Smashed in the windows and bashed in the doors,
Written on the walls and the floor,
"Japs not welcome anymore."
And Kenji dropped both of his bags at his sides and just stood outside,
He, looked at his wife without words to say,
She looked back at him wiped the tears away,
And, said "Someday we'll be okay, someday,"
Now the names have been changed, but the story's true,
My family was locked up back in '42,
My family was there it was dark and damp,
And they called it an internment camp

When we first got back from camp... uhh
It was... pretty... pretty bad

I, I remember my husband said
"Are we gonna stay 'til last?"
Then my husband died before they close the camp.

========

Slip Out The Back

You know me
I used to get caught up in everyday life
Trying to make it through my day so I could sleep at night
Trying to figure my way through the maze of rights and wrongs
But like you used to say
Nothing feels like it's really worth it

Forget perfect
I'm trying not to be worthless
Since I last saw you I've been looking for a purpose
Well, I met this kid who thought like I did
He had a weird way of looking at it
This is what he said

Slip out the back before they know you were there
And at the worst you'll see nobody cares
Cuz you don't wanna be around when it all goes down
Even heroes know when to be scared

Slip out the back before they know you were there
And at the worst you'll see nobody cares
Cuz you don't wanna be around when it all goes down
Even heroes know when to be scared

Now
I don't remember where I met him or remember his name
But he walked funny like he was just too big for his frame
Just over five foot but he weighed a buck-fifty
And what he said seemed so right
It stuck with me

Listen
It's like poker
You can play your best
But you gotta know when to fold your cards and take a rest
And know when to hold your cards
Hold your breath
And hope that nobody else is stacking the deck
Because

I don't need to tell you that life isn't fair
It doesn't care
It arbitrarily cuts off your air
And like you I want someone to say its okay
In the truest part of our hearts everybody's afraid

We're just underappreciated and overwhelmed
Fighting so hard to hide our fear that we're scaring ourselves
You understand what I'm saying cuz you always did
But it's different in the words of a cowardly kid

Who said slip out the back before they know you were there
At the worst you'll see nobody cares
Cuz you don't wanna be around when it all goes down
Even heroes know when to be scared

Slip out the back before they know you were there
At the worst you'll see nobody cares
Cuz you don't wanna be around when it all goes down
Even heroes know when to be scared

And I'm no hero
You remember how it was
You know
All I ever did was worry
Feeling out of control
To the point where everything is going end over end
I'm spinning around in circles again
This is where you come in

All of this to explain to you why
I had to separate myself away from yesterday's life
Please remember
This isn't how I hoped it would be
But I had to protect you from me

That's why I slipped out the back before you knew I was there
I know you felt unprepared
But every single time I was around I'd just bring you down
And I could tell that it was time to be scared

That's why I slipped out the back before you knew I was there
And I know the way I left
It wasn't fair
I didn't wanna be around just to bring you down
I'm not a hero but don't think I didn't care

=====

Cigarettes

Man I love this rap game
Mainly cuz its cool
To add a little spice to the life you've been through
Everyone exaggerates a tiny little bit
To make that shit sound more gangster than it really is
You cant appear weak man
We wanna hear street
Wanna hear you spit your thug over this here beat
Dont take it as sarcastic
I can't get enough
Im telling you
You can call my bluff
If it's not rough, then I really don't need it
I'm not even ashamed
I got too much reality thats filling up my brain
so sell me on that chronic, I'm addicted to the game
Suck it up like a cigarette, light it up

Its just like a cigarette, its something that I do
Once in awhile but between me and you
Its just like a cigarette Nobody's really fooled
I dont want the truth, I wanna feel fucking cool

Let me tell you something that I realized tonight
My hip hop radio is like marlboro lights
They're both selling stories and they sound about the same
Cigarettes say their safe, wrappers claim they really bang
We dont care if it's true when we lay the money down
We don't believe the words, we just love the way they sound
They're acting like we're idiots, They're lying to our face
Maybe we are idiots, we buy it anyway

I'm runnin out to get the next rapper's CD
Just suckin up the guns, drugs, and misogyny
The same way that I suck up all the stories
When I breathe that little bit of death supposedly cancer-free and
Everything they say's got the truth twisted up
But twisted up's what I want man, I can't get enough
Cuz even though we know it's all just a big bluff
We just light another up, what
We don't give a fuck

Its just like a cigarette, its something that I do
Once in awhile but between me and you
Its just like a cigarette Nobody's really fooled
I dont want the truth, I wanna feel fucking cool

Its just like a cigarette, its something that I do
Over and over but between me and you
Its just like a cigarette Nobody's really fooled
I dont want the truth, I wanna feel fucking cool

Listen to the words, Listen for awhile
Lip Service radio, dont touch the dial
If you're in the car
Turn up the track man
Give the whole neighborhood some second hand rap

Matter of fact
Listen to the words, Listen for awhile
Lip Service radio, dont touch the dial
If you're in the car
Turn up the track man
Give the whole neighborhood some second hand rap

Its just like a cigarette, its something that I do
Once in awhile but between me and you
Its just like a cigarette Nobody's really fooled
I dont want />

FORT MINOR - RIGHT NOW (FEATURING STYLES OF BEYOND & BLACK THOUGHT OF THE ROOTS)

Someone right now is leaving their apartment
Looking down at the street and wondering where their car went
Someone in a car is sitting at a signal
In front of a restaurant, staring through the window
At someone right now with their finger in their teeth
Who could use a little floss, right across the street
There's somebody on the curb who really needs a jacket
Spent half the rent at a bar getting plastered
Now he's gotta walk fourteen blocks
Just to work at a shop where he's about to get fired
Someone right now is looking pretty tired
Staring at a laptop trying to get inspired
And somebody living right across the street
Just wrote the best thing that she's written all week
But her best friend's coughing up blood in the sink
He can't even think what happened, feeling so confused
And he knows it looks bad but there's nothing he can do
I wonder what it's like to be right there in his shoes but...

Yo, I'm just taking it in
Out the window of a hotel bedroom again
Tomorrow I'll be gone, I don't know when I'll be back
But in this world everything can change just like that...

Yo, somebody right now is dropping his vote
Inside a box and trying to not get shot in his throat
For the act of freedom, right now somebody's stuck in Iraq
Hoping that he gets shipped back breathing
In a war but he's not really sure of the reasons
So we show our support when the press mislead him
Though we all remain proud, salute the troops
Get some, I know you boys got some work to do

Meanwhile, right now someone's 25-to-life
And they're standing on a corner with their thumb up hitchhiking
Scratching off a Lotto ticket hoping for a real winner
Sneaking through the border just to work and eat a real dinner
But right now someone wishes they were you and I
Instead of second-guessing fatal thoughts of quiet suicide
But right now staring out the window at a fiend
With holes in his arm and holes in his jeans
He pulled out a cigarette and sparked a light
And walked right around a corner just out of my sight but...

Yo, I'm just taking it in
From the second story hotel window again
The TV's on and my bags are packed
But in this world everything can change just like that...

Yo, I'm just taking it in
From the second story hotel window again
The TV's on put some heat in their apartment
But they got a little mattress, no carpet
And they appreciate it cause some people on a park bench
You see 'em when you rushing to get to the office
Wife right behind when she come up from the market
Right now somebody coming out the parking
Trying to dump that ride they run around the block with
Same time the cops is raising a glock
With aim to fill your legs and your back with some hot shit
Right now someone's struggling to stop this man
Who's kicking and punching and cussing at the doctors
Down the hall, a child taking his first breath
The doc hasn't even passed him to the nurse yet
Yo, I wonder if he understands what it's worth yet
Life, the time spent while we here on the Earth yet
The answers to the questions we all seek
Can be found, it depend on how free y'all think
Right now there's somebody who ain't eat all week
That would kill for this shit you throw away in the street
I guess one man's trash is the next man's treasure
One man's pain is the next man's pleasure
One say infinity, the next say forever
Right now everybody got to get it together man...

Ugh, I'm just taking it in
In another strange hotel lobby again
With my luggage on my back, I don't know where I'm at
I'm in a world where it all change just like that...

Yeah, I'm just taking it in
Out the window of a hotel bedroom again
Tomorrow I'll be gone, I don't know when I'll be back
But in this Or maybe when I look around daily
I don't even know the people I can put my trust in lately
People that I used to hang with, now they're reacting so different
I'm still the same person, why doesn't anybody listen?
Can somebody please just explain to me
What happened to the way that we always said we'd be?
Cause right now I don't know why I pushed through the pain that I got through
And I'm losing hope

Kenna:
Deafening voices
That frequency inside my head that says
I'm going at it the hard way
I focus
Get everything inside out of my brain that claims
I'm going at it the hard way

Mike:
Come with me, let me walk you through the world that I currently live in
Not a thing is forgotten, not a thing is forgiven
Nobody can hold their own underneath the weight
But nobody can take the blame for their own mistakes
So what do you do when somebody lets you down
And you want to say something but you can't cause they're not around?
Inside you think they know the extent of the pain
But they won't even admit that they were the one to blame
Can somebody please just explain to me
What happened to the way that we always said we'd be?
Cause right now I don't know why I pushed through the pain that I got through
And I'm losing hope

Kenna:
Deafening voices
That frequency inside my head that says
I'm going at it the hard way
I focus
Get everything inside out of my brain that claims
I'm going at it the hard way
Voices, voices
My head, my head

Mike:
Can somebody please just explain to me
What happened to the way that we always said we'd be?
Right now I don't know why I pushed through the pain that I got through
And I'm losing hope, give me one reason not to

Kenna:
Voices
That frequency inside my head that says
I'm going at it the hard way
I focus
Get everything inside out of my brain that claims
I'm going at it the hard way

my review of harry potter and the goblet of fire movie

I really enjoyed watching the movie. I havent read the books yet.

my kakashi fan fic

gosh im so obsessed and addicted to the naruto anime, my fav characters are sasuke and kakashi coz they're so cute and cool. i also like the way they have drawn kabuto, but, he's a bad guy, neways, maybe im going to write a good fan fic for him and shizune. i have read some good ones for sakura and sasuke, but for kakashi, i have yet to find a good romance fan fic for him. I guess, im looking for something like the one im planning to write lolz. i guess, im going to start chapter 1, i have lots of time now, i still have 2 hours more to go at work, and they dont allow us to surf, so i'll just spend my time with this. but first I need to organize the plot of the story and the sequence of events. i sometimes get a writer's block and i hate it, i thought it would really be easy to write a story, but, whenever i try to start one, there are things going through my head, like what if the words are wrong or it doesnt reflect the characters, what if it's corny, i really want to get rid of these thoughts, think i need to take the advise of just letting it flow, i'll criticize it later......

"nothing to do now, those genins grew up so fast, i hope they'll do good on their own" Kakashi sits on the rock beside a waterfalls, holding a book authored by jiraiya, but, he was not looking at it. He was reminiscing about all the things that has happened for the past few days and chuckled at the recollections of his students' funny antics. He was on this train of thoughts when he noticed a figure coming toward the waterfalls.

Her head was slightly bowed as if she was in deep thought while walking, her straight long black hair wave gently with the wind. She didnt immediately noticed that there was someone sitting on her favorite rock, when she finally saw the shoes, that's the only time she looked up and saw a...... ninja. 'familiar face I think I saw him before' trying to recall where and when, but, gave up after a moment.

"I....ummm am sorry, I thought no one was here, I'll just go over there" blushing, she pointed at the side of the waterfalls.

"No... it's okay, you can sit here if you want, I'll be going anyways...." Kakashi hesitating, still dumbfounded by shock of seeing the most beautiful lady in front of him. His heart beats faster, which rarely or (never) happened before. He's always relaxed and not apprehensive as he is feeling right now.

"I obviously intruded on what you were doing, please dont leave because of me, I will appreciate a company." she said smiling. "Okay" Kakashi, smiling inside (lolz)

She sat down on the slightly slanted ground, brought her knees to her chest and letting the water flow on her feet. She laid her books and papers beside her and just stared for a moment at the beautiful view of the waterfalls. Then, remembering the person she met, she looked back and caught him staring at her. He quickly looked away and asked "you're new here aren't you? I have never seen you around before"

" it seems you know a lot of people here.... you're right, Im just new and actually just passing by your village before going home."

"oh.... what village are you from?"

"rock"

"Okay" he said "oh i almost forgot, how rude of me, I didnt introduce myself.... Im Hatake Kakashi"

"You're Kakashi! the famous copy-ninja sharingan user, it's a pleasure to have met you here." She flashed the most beautiful smile. He was caught off guard again. "I'm Shuzine Maro"

'what a beautiful name' He knows he will remember it forever, then the Kakashi inside, shook his head and hit his head 'what is this strange feeling'

She stood up and walked to where he was sitting and offered her hand, he took it a little longer than a usual handshake. He is still silent and not saying anything, just awestruck on what's happening right now.

Then she said "I have only been here for a day and have not really seen the whole village, what place do u recommend the best place to see in Konoha?" 'omg, did i really say that, what's happening to me, when did i get the courage to speak like this?' the Shizune inside, hit her head with her palm 'what if he read my mind and would probably reject me and what am i saying, oh gosh'
But the Shizune outside is very much composed, as if it was what she really wanted to say.

His heart is really beating faster, but, he kept a cool and relaxed tone, getting a grip of himself, he said "The Ramen at Ichiraku is the best. Would you like to go there? I mean, if you're not doing anything, I uummm I mean if you're not busy." Kakashi stattering a little 'man, did i blew it?!!'

Inside she said, 'He's so cute!!! I can't believe I'm talking to the ninja I admire most. He is nothing like I imagined. And he's asking me out, I can't believe my luck today' But, out loud she said " That's a great idea, I'll just get my things"

end of chapter 1 hheehehhe

NARUTO heheheheehe

now, im interested in...... Naruto, heheheheeh the anime, lolz, my brother brought home the dvds he borrowed from his friend or co-worker, neways, at first I thought it was just too dramatic and I find it funny because there were huge animals there, I didnt know the story then. I can barely remember what made me interested to watch the whole series, because there were great fighting scenes and their powers and stategies, and really the imagination of the creator of that anime is just so coollllll. My favorite characters there are Sasuke and Hinata because I think I like the aloofness of sasuke and I can relate to Hinata, because I think when I was younger and not yet working for a company, I was really so timid and shy, I mean, I guess until now, I kind of speak softly whenever I meet new people. And I get so easily intimated. I like the way, this anime, features great characteristics and personalities that both young and adults should have: courage, determination, camaraderie, and most especially love lolz. I guess, I'm looking into it too deep, but, I guess, that's what the creator wanted people to get out of it. And add to it really, the cool fighting scenes lolz And who would not like the cute face of sasuke lolz, he's so cute, great drawing gosh, wish I can meet someone like him hehehehehe, except, I dont like the past life, but' that's part of his story.

Neways, I will definitely going to watch this every chance I get. I like the episodes on their exams and got curious on how it all started, so before my brother returned the dvds, I watched episodes 1-50. oh yeah, I also like kakashi and his mysterious cover in the face lolz, i love that episode where they tried to find out what's behind it lolz

2

i believe that what i see around me is a reflection of myself. so when i saw lazy people around me, i realized i am being lazy too lolz. I never did continue with selling the books, i did not anymore paid myself first, because i got sidetracked and bought a lot of things on my last month's paycheck. but , in fairness to me, i also used some of my money to invest in some things, at least i saw some people who were working their hardest to do what they can. Neways, a few days ago, i saw our house help not really doing anything, then i noticed in the news that people are really lazy, they only want to complain and not do anything about the situation, they chose to go to a rally and spend their time and effort in shouting things and believe that by doing those things, they are trying to change something. They chose to do this instead of reading the law, asking a lawyer, and try to work things out, they say they do not have the budget for that and close the conversation. so how can you talk to close-minded people? i guess part of me is close and part of me is open to other suggestions, so in seeing these kind of people, it made me realize the things that i should not do. I will not be lazy and spend my precious time to nonsense things, but, i will be assertive in reading books or articles that cater to what i need and i will try to contact experts on the subject im interested in. i dont want to end up like the people i see in my environment. good thing, they are mirrors of my life. i can see myself without looking at the mirror.

the people i work with are all great people, i observe them everyday and there are some personalities i like and some i dont. some of the attitudes i admire on people are attitudes i dont have sometimes, and some i dont like, i realized i have those hateful attitude myself. I saw some who are really into gossips, i realized, before, i spent time like that with my friends in college, we sometimes talk about other students and things, not about what we want or whatever. I really dont like the educational system of the country at this time. neways, im going to find those like-minded people, i dont care how, but i really need a new environment, but, i guess before i can do that, i have to change some of my attitudes first. then there are those people here who waste their time looking at space, i mean literally doing nothing but sit and stare sometimes, thinking that it's a boring day, because no one's talking to them. especially when they're beside me, i dont talk much when im at work, because it's the only time i have on the internet, and i have lots of things to research and read, but i do answer their questions if they have some for me, but, i really dont want to waste my time in conversing with topics im not interested in. I know i cant find people here who are interested with what im interested in now, i mean im 23 and im interested in investing, stock market, real estate, solar energy, environment, mutual funds, etc. im also interested in things like music, i guess that's one of the ways, they can converse with me lolz and think that im not insane. that's why they always see me as someone who's silent. but, i just let them think what they want, because i know myself, and i know their personalities already, and i know that im going somewhere, i dont want to stay any longer to people who always want to look on the window from the outside, i want to be part of the action and i know i can achieve that. i just have to have something to remind me of my goals because the negative energies or attitudes are sometimes contagious and may influence me, u know the saying, when you put good fruits in rotten ones, the good fruits will be rotten too. I might become one of them someday if i allow myself, but, for now, i can take it and still be focused on what i want. But, sometimes im losing myself, and need something to remind me. so i keep the quotations and the ebooks on my email so i can read it whenever i need to.

and then there are some people who think that they are right and that they know better than me. they sometimes judge people, well, i think i am like that too, sometimes, judging people like what im doing before when observing my co-workers, i just judge them but didnt draw out the lessons i can learn from them. see, if i observe something bad, i should try to see if im doing it myself and change it. This is what im doing now, so im no longer judging them as bad or something, i just observed what they do and logically determine if it is good for me or not, if it is not, try to determine if im doing it already and try to stop it. Also, i sometimes think that im right and that i dont like my environment because they dont cater to what im interested in and that they dont follow what i think is right, that's why last month i was so frustrated and really seriously thinking to quit, but, now i know better and when i read that sometimes what's in our minds or in our personality is what we will see in our environment, so if im seeing negative attitudes in the people around me, it means i do have negative attitudes. upon realizing that, i know i must change and put into action all the things im reading and have learned.

sometimes i feel down because there are not that many people that encourages me, u know what i mean, im not a robot, im a person, and sometimes i feel hopeless and i can only turn to the messageboards in the internet or articles im reading for comfort. my mom really does give moral support to me, but, sometimes she doesnt believe in what i believe in, because the things that im trying now is not yet generating results. but i know that sometimes, she does like my attitude of determination and doing what i believe in, but, sometimes she doubts me, i think. and then some of the things im thinking of doing, wasnt done before, so where can i find comfort and encouragement right. that's why i really try hard to motivate myself and find the strength within me, coz i cant find it anywhere else here. i will never have anyone who also like to go against the tide, except for my bestfriend. my cousins, who are also schooled with the same dogma and principles really try to do it the way it is always done, not thinking of other creative ways to do something they like. being frustrated sometimes because they are not accomplishing it. but, some of my cousins are also successful in the thing they want to achieve, and im happy for them, at least they have achieved what they have set out to do. what attitudes can i learn from all of them? well for my successful cousin, it's the attitude of action, doing all things instead of just thinking about it. the lesson for those people who failed, is that not to stop on trying, not be frustrated but instead look at the situation from afar and think what went wrong, move on and bring the lessons with you. as for my mom, it really hit me hard that she doesnt believe in me sometimes, because i wasnt able to go out of the country and my cousins are already on their way. i realized, she was right that i wasnt able to achieve that goal, but, i also realized that, i really dont want to get out of the country to work for a company, i want to be my own boss.

random ramblings

I just saw the trailer of the new movie on harry potter, gosh, the special effects are so cool and the movie itself, im excited to see it. I hope they do show it here in November, same month as in US. Neways, about music, I like the new song and video of fort minor's remember the name, i like the chorus so much, I even put it in my e-mail signature at work lolz.

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill

Fifteen percent concentrated power of will

Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain

And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

Then I saw this mp3 player, which is very portable , smaller than your palm, very handy, and it can store about 128mb or 200+ files depending on your memory card.. it has a built in USB, so you can plug it in any computer that has a USB port and download files straight to the device. pretty amazing, im sure glad my co-worker knows about it, they're the ones who told me abt it and forwarded the site: http://www.epraizer.com.tw/products/productRM100U.html

====================

before I go on with my thoughts for the day, i just want to write this down, coz i read something earlier.
I just find it funny that the CIA can be broken into and tamper with their information lolz. imagine releasing something as dragging the name of ramos in a heresay about coop, gosh lolz.
That's why most us based companies are afraid of asians, they're more powerful hackers I guess compare to those ppl in western countries, where some of them are even caught. There was one time that they said they caught the one who spread the love bug, the hacker which is a filipino, but, i really dont know the full story about that, how he got in and how they caught him. but, i have a feeling it was not him.

neways, now on with my journal entry,
why am in still here when i really dont like to deal with moron customer everyday, and dealing with people i really do not like. because i am afraid of not have any money to contribute at home and to buy things i want. I think that's the truth as i see it. And besides, I have not yet found anything to replace my job which also provides me the same rate or more. now that i've read the rdpd again, it made me realize what i was going through, im letting my emotions take over, i feel so overwhelmed that i was not paid enough to deal with members who are sometimes so stupid they dont even know how to tie their shoelaces, neways, whatever, I don't care about them, but, i also dont have any interest in billing anymore, u know what i mean, but i keep telling myself that i cant sacrifice my big paycheck just to follow a very very scary concept of rdpd that you can always work for free, and use ur imagination and creativity to generate income right. now that's venturing out of your comfort zone, which I am not yet ready to take. i have other options that im thinking of switching to right now, real estate agent and typing job for my cousin's shop, but these two have more cons in them than pros. I dont like having to deal with people who are really irate, but I also don;t want to lose my free access to the internet. I have to learn more about a lot of things such as investments, portfolio, real estate, taxes, bookkeeping, etc. I dont even have that microsoft money program where you can input all your expenses or income or due dates all things that has to do with your money. I dont yet practice the budgeting for every paycheck. I mean you know, just for this month I have been having a splurge, I didnt save something from my paycheck to deposit in the bank, because I have lots of things to buy, I bought a compass which costs P450, and other things I have not accounted for, I guess it was mostly food. then I invested in a mutual fund which took 5000 from my savings, which I hope is a good investment, Im all excited to see my certificate come December.

Maybe, one other thing that also trying to drive me away from here because i am not happy is because my environment is very different from me, people here are not really high on financial intelligence, if 10 is the highest then they would be 2. Most of us are middle class, and the way they think is middle class, they get their income and then they pay their debts, bills, and buy liabilities. Im glad I was able to read rdpd which explained the two terms simply. I now know how to differentiate assets from liabilities. I have been buying assets for a year now, started last may, when ate grace suggested hog raising, I only bought one piglet for me, coz it's only a start, and it really does take a long time before you can get your roi in it. and then one piglet again with tsay leah last June, when we went to canlaon, then i dont know if it was september or october, i bought kambing , and then mutual fund on october. I am really craving to have some like-minded people who do not want to have any limitations, because I dont see anyone like that here at this time. Not at work, at home or anywhere. maybe when i go to that seminar on november, my life will change drastically, you know what i mean.

Introduction

I decided to create this blog because I can't stick on one topic and research everyday or most of my time about it. There are days im interested on one thing and the next day on another thing, so I think it best to compile all the things I'm interested in this blog, and then add the information I've gathered to my website, free hosting lolz http://www.sundries.bravehost.com

Well, today, im interested about chakras, that will be my next post :D

uuummmmm, I changed my mind, I read things about chakra and that we all have 7 points, and I found a test about it, result states some of them are open and others are underactive, might read about them on some other days, Im kinda lazy to post the article now, may be another time
